Swiss luxury watch brand Corum has adapted the incomparable mechanical beauty of its legendary baton movement timepiece--the Golden Bridge--into a ravishing model specifically created for women. An elegantly cambered 41 x 34mm rectangular case in 18-karat red or white gold puts on display the visual magnificence of more than 2.50 carats (t.w.) of set round brilliant diamonds. Beneath the sapphire crystal, two additional fields of pave-set diamonds provide additional splendor to the the hand-engraved gold baton caliber, which positions the entire mechanism--including the balance wheel and escapement--all in a straight line. A white mother of pearl applique decorates the top surface of the winding crown.
Only a small handful of Corum Golden Bridge Lady timepieces will be completed each year, a testament to the degree of watchmaking and gem-setting complexity they embody. The red gold version features a strap in white crocodile leather, while the white gold model is fitted with a black crocodile strap; both versions feature pin buckles in the appropriate alloy of 18K gold. The Golden Bridge Lady watch is water resistant to 30 meters.
